Not on the road

I really want to produce some more stuff I have been having allot of fleeting ideas.

Now having a two year old in the house is really sucking up the creative time. Oh well this stuff can wait. I have been getting into mashups lately but with the copy written content I can not post them.

I matched up Led Zep Dazed and Confused with A whole lotta love I like it but they won't let me post it.

Now Playing: Alice Cooper's "Salvation"

Hey, long time since the last entry. Well after being dropped off line for a while and moving to a new house I am finally back on.

While the site was down I made a myspace page for 1weavingspider but I did not make it very fancy. I guess I should use on of those free myspace backgrounds site.

I saw AC\DC doing an interview on TV the other day and it looked like they were having a good time but not many of the questions got answered. Like "Your sound hasn't really changed through out the years have you ever thought about  changing it any?" They just kind of laughed at the question and I understand they were probly thinking why mess up our brand of music? I mean look a Metallica need I say more. Gee, I hope Metallica does not try to sue me for using thier name on my web sight. You know copywright and all that mp3 download stuff they really are down on. Maybe I should call them "The Artists Formally Known As Relevant."

On a lighter note I am exited to hear the new Yngwie album with the Ripper singing.

I found a company on the verge of producing hydrogen conversion kits in mass. This kit will allow a fuel injected gas vehicle run on hydrogen. They have found a way to make it safer than gasoline is. It will work best in conjunction with the standard fuel system in your car so when you run out of hydrogen it will just start burning your gas. This will make a great supplement for fuel. Range is pretty far also.

I always wanted to build a hotrod. But now I think I will end up building an electric vehicle. Or converting a gas to electric. It is not real hard. The problem is gathering the bucks to do it. I am sure it would be less than $6000 to convert any car or truck.

A better engine.

I must be really bothered by this high fuel cost thing. It has got me thinking about why we just can’t break the 35mpg mark in a conventional automobile. One problem I see is that most of the fuel is just used for cooling the piston. If you would lean out your fuel delivery and increase compression ratio you would burn up your rings.

Solution: Ceramic engine

I thought that if an engine was made of ceramic it could handle the heat. I also thought it should be a rotary engine just because it would require less moving parts.

Well I looked on the web and found CRE of Texas, Ceramic Rotary Engines.   http://ceramicrotaryengines.com/

It turns out they are already way ahead of me. I also found some info about an engine with only 3 moving parts. It is called a spherical engine, it could produce as much horsepower as a big V8  and is just the size of a basketball. http://www.innomot.com/indexGB.html

I wonder if this technology is available why does the auto manufactures force us to use the inefficient engine? I would think that mass production would keep the cost per unit down.

Fuel $5.00 / Gallon
Topic: End of the world
How will we function with the cost of fuel at $5.00 a gallon?Well, I would have to say that we would be more locally minded as far as work, shopping and entertainment. Some people I know drive over 60 miles to work every day. I would think that a $5.00 a gallon filling the tank two times a week would really cut into the monthly budget. It would cost them $480 a month just to go to work.I really doubt a company would increase their wage scale to offset the price of fuel for their workers. The fact is they would just have to move in closer to work. On the other hand the cost of property may be too high in that area for that to afford and that’s why they were living 60 miles away in the first place. This case would be repeated all over the nation causing instability in the economy.  But in turn people would be doing more business locally and businesses would be better able to control their market with out having to compete with foreign markets. The shipping costs would be so high that it would be cheaper to by the local brand.
